13. Is it possible to pay my contribution by way of instalments?
Yes in certain limited circumstances. The Board must be satisfied that you cannot obtain credit to pay it or that it would cause hardship or be unreasonable to require you to pay it in one sum. If you are allowed to pay in instalments the full payment must be made over a maximum period of twelve months. Your solicitor will not be able to file court proceedings on your behalf until the contribution has been paid in full.
