Submission Type
You must choose the type of submission you are making. While EOS offers a range of submission types, the following are applicable for applications for legal aid:
- Legal Aid Certificate (Family Law)
This covers any family law proceedings where the applicant will be represented by a law centre solicitor (except for matters under the Guardianship of Infants Act 1964, Family Law (Maintenance of Spouses and Children Act) 1976, or Domestic Violence Act 1996 and the proceedings will be taken in the District Court or on appeal to the Circuit Court). - Legal Aid Certificate (Non Family Law)
This covers any non-family law proceedings. - Delegated Legal Aid Certificate
This covers any family law proceedings where the applicant will be represented by a law centre solicitor under the Guardianship of Infants Act 1964, Family Law (Maintenance of Spouses and Children Act) 1976, or Domestic Violence Act 1996 and the proceedings will be taken in the District Court or on appeal to the Circuit Court. - Private Practitioner Legal Aid Certificate
This covers any proceedings where the applicant will be represented by a member of a private solicitors panel.
