A New Look for the Legal Aid Board

A New Look for the Legal Aid Board

Today, the Legal Aid Board is launching a new brand identity, marking an exciting new chapter for our organisation. Our new look reflects who we are today and our continued commitment to providing legal aid, advice and family mediation services to people across Ireland.

The new identity includes a refreshed logo, colour palette, typography and visual style. It has been developed to create a clearer, more consistent and recognisable Legal Aid Board, while making sure our communications are accessible and easy to understand.

While our look is changing, our mission and services remain the same. We continue to provide support to people who qualify for civil legal aid and advice, as well as free family mediation for people who are separating or divorcing, alongside our other access to justice services.

At the heart of our new brand is a simple idea: clarity, expertise and care. We want our communications to help people understand complex situations, consider their options and know what to do next. That means communicating in a way that is professional and trusted, but also approachable, clear and human.

Joan Crawford, Chief Executive of the Legal Aid Board, said:

“Today marks an exciting new chapter for the Legal Aid Board. Our new brand represents much more than a new logo or a new colour palette. It reflects who we are as an organisation today and how we want to present ourselves to the people and communities we serve.

The Legal Aid Board plays an important role in supporting access to justice, and it is important that our identity and communications reflect the professionalism, accessibility and public service at the heart of our work.

We are delighted to officially launch our new brand and look forward to seeing it come to life across the organisation and in our communications with the public.”

The new brand will be introduced across our website, social media, publications, documents and other communications. As the new identity comes to life across the organisation, our focus remains the same: providing a trusted public service and helping people access justice when they need it most.

The launch follows an extensive development process involving consideration of the organisation's existing identity, its future direction and the needs of its audiences.

The new Legal Aid Board brand is available to view on the organisation's website and across all social media platforms.
